Initial / Extended Session (80 mins): A$280.00

Payment Options

We aim to make payment simple and flexible:

  • In-person sessions: You can pay in advance online, or at the end of your session using EFTPOS, or cash.

  • Telehealth sessions: These must be paid in advance at the time of booking through our website.

Important: As part of our ongoing service and to streamline payments, we kindly require clients to provide payment details, which are securely stored in our encrypted booking system. Your card will only be charged in accordance with our payment and cancellation policies.

If you have any concerns or questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re here to help.

Confidentiality

Everything you share with your counsellor is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

There are, however, a few legal and ethical exceptions where your information may be disclosed:

  • If there is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else

  • If you disclose involvement in a serious crime

  • If we are legally required to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legislative request

Outside of these rare circumstances, your information is private and will never be shared without your clear and written consent.

Medicare Rebates

At this time, counselling services are not covered under Medicare. As a privately billed practice, you do not need a GP referral to see us. Clients are welcome to self-refer and book directly for any of our individual, couples, or family counselling services.

 

We believe that access to support should be simple and flexible; without the need to navigate referral systems or eligibility criteria.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

Depending on your health fund and level of cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on counselling services. We recommend contacting your private health insurer directly to confirm what’s included in your policy.

*Please note that rebates vary depending on your provider and level of extras cover.

Referrals

Bo Tree Counselling is currently accepting referrals for adult appointments with Mrs. Dee Kumbukage.

 

You can access counselling through a variety of pathways:

  • Private Health Insurance

Check with your health fund to see if you’re eligible for

rebates. Referral requirements vary between providers.

  • Self-Referral (Private Fee-Paying)

You’re welcome to book directly no referral is needed.

​

  • Third-Party Funded Referrals

We accept referrals from:

  • EAP

  • WorkSafe / WorkCover

 

  • NDIS Participants

We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients.

Please note: We are unable to accept NDIA-managed (agency- managed) referrals at this time.
